Gallipoli Class Picker Decision Guide

Match your habits to a Gallipoli class before you waste unlock time.

Class Picker

This Class Picker is a practical decision guide for Gallipoli’s ten historical classes in 25v25 Expedition matches. It does not scrape APIs or invent fake quiz scores. It asks how you like to play, then routes you to Officer, sustain, or firepower roles with links into the Classes Hub.

If you still need mode basics, pause and read Getting Started plus Expedition Mode. Map personality matters too — skim the Maps Overview for Anzac, Cape Helles, and Kut.

Quick start: three gate questions

Answer in order. Stop at the first hard yes.

1) Do you want to decide when the squad moves?

Yes → Officer. You like callouts, timers, and living near the objective even when your K/D looks average. Next read the Officer Guide. Projected tempo value sits high on the pre-launch Class Tier List — remember that page is a series-veteran projection, not an official ranking.

2) Do you enjoy winning fights that never show as top frag?

Yes → sustain track. Choose between Stretcher Bearer and Ammo Bearer:

  • Pick Stretcher Bearer if you like routes, triage, and dragging key players out of lanes. Guide: Stretcher Bearer.
  • Pick Ammo Bearer if you like enabling HMG belts, LMG holds, and Bomber breach waves without being the revive specialist.

Both are foundational in Momentum modes because deaths spend the attack clock.

3) Do you want to shape the map with guns or explosives?

Yes → firepower track. Use the specialized picker below, then study Firepower Roles.

Firepower sub-picker

Work top to bottom.

You like owning a lane for a whole minute

Heavy Machine Gunner. Best mental fit for Anzac sand denial and defensive ridges. You are willing to set early, communicate “crossing is hot,” and relocate after a secure instead of hunting bayonet clips.

You like one perfect pick, then a new rock

Sniper. You will hunt Officers, gunners, and repeating Stretcher paths. You accept that overstacking snipers loses rooms in Kut. Discipline matters more than montage energy.

You like moving with the blob and holding corners

Light Machine Gunner. Ideal for players who hate static mounts but still want automatic pressure. Kut streets and Cape Helles approaches love this brain.

You like being the last ten meters of a plan

Bomber. You wait for suppression, enter with purpose, and measure success in Headquarters secures. Empty hero charges without Officer timing are a wrong answer.

Map tie-breakers

When two classes both feel right, let the theatre break the tie:

  • Anzac — prefer Officer, HMG, Stretcher Bearer, disciplined Sniper
  • Cape Helles — prefer Officer, Bomber, Ammo Bearer, LMG
  • Kut — prefer Officer, LMG, Bomber, Stretcher Bearer

If your friends already locked three Snipers, the picker answer is whatever the table lacks — usually sustain or Bomber — even if Sniper was your romantic first choice.

After you get a result

  1. Open the matching guide under Classes Overview.
  2. Grab a package from Best Loadouts.
  3. Skim gun logic on the Weapon Tier List.
  4. Optionally compare projected strength on the Class Tier List.
  5. Make the game readable with the Settings Optimizer.
  6. Return to the Tools Hub when you want the other helper.

Dual-main recommendation

Gallipoli rewards a two-class identity:

  • Primary — the class you install as muscle memory
  • Cover — a second class that fills squad holes in pubs

Strong pairs:

  • Officer + Stretcher Bearer
  • HMG + Ammo Bearer
  • LMG + Bomber
  • Sniper + Officer (for players who can stop sniping when calls are missing)

What this picker will not do

  • It will not promise day-one unlock order.
  • It will not replace live balance after August 20, 2026.
  • It will not tell you that four snipers is fine because “aim is king.” Expedition Momentum disagrees.

Choose the class that matches how you already think under pressure. Gallipoli’s best squads are built from honest roles, not from everyone chasing the same highlight category.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What if I like fragging and supporting?

Main a firepower class and keep Stretcher Bearer or Ammo Bearer as your cover class for squads that already have enough guns.

Is Officer too hard for beginners?

Officer asks for map and mode literacy, but short callouts are learnable. If leadership stress is high, start Stretcher Bearer or LMG, then graduate.

Should I follow the Class Tier List instead?

Use this picker for enjoyment fit first. Use the Class Tier List as a pre-launch projection to prioritize practice — not as a mandatory pick sheet.

Where is the full roster explained?

Classes Overview and the Classes Hub cover the ten-class picture, with deep dives for Officer, Stretcher Bearer, and firepower roles.

Can maps change the picker result?

Yes. If you mostly queue beach maps, bias toward HMG and Officer. If you live in streets, bias toward LMG and Bomber.
